About the job
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical leader who will join our senior management team. You will be responsible for leading the company's day-to-day business operations (managing the company budget, ensuring operational compliance is followed, and addressing administrative issues).
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement business and HR strategies, plans and procedures to steer the company in a positive direction
- Set comprehensive and achievable goals for performance and growth
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Oversee everyday operations and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
- Plan the workforce and handle end-to-end recruitment processes
- Nurture employees to do their best work
- Provide executive level visibility to operational performance, incident and outage, resources assigned, project activity, and service level performance
- Implement process for performance management and continuous improvement against established key performance indicators
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with external partners and service providers to maintain business relations as well as monitor performance
- Provide clear direction on yearly objectives to the operations support team ensuring the team understands the vision and the benefits to providing efficient technical support
- Coach/train/mentor & monitor team activities for execution of the vision, strategy, and goals
- Build and maintain a systemic approach to Knowledge Management within the GOCS team
- Thought leadership to identify opportunities for automation and standardization across the landscape for continuous improvements through service & operations excellence
- Research, analyze and formulate best-case solutions and resolutions to complex issues
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline 5 -10 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in senior management
